Running with the Bulls: it happens in the US, too

The ‘Running of the Bulls’ festival has kicked off in Pamplona, Spain. This annual event goes from July 7 to July 14, with the bull running occuring every morning at 8am.

Most people know about this race… however, did you know there’s a “Running of the Bull” in the United States?

Now in its 14th year, Dewey Beach, DE, is holding its “Running of the Bull” on Saturday, July 10th.

It’s not nearly as dangerous as its Spainish counterpart, given the “bull” is really two people in a bull suit.  Kind of like a good ole’ redneck version of the event.

“It’s stupidity for stupidity’s sake.”
