‘Back to the Future’ – 25 years later

UPDATE: Blame TotalFilm for this hoax – According to CNN, “the truth is, of course, that in the original film, Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) travels from October 26, 1985, back to the same date in November 1955, along the way knocking down one of the pines that gave its name to his starting point at Twin Pines Mall.”  Even the frame grab is a fake!

Photocritic pointed out that today is the day that Doc Brown typed in to the DeLorean while explaining his time machine to Marty McFly.

As we all know, it takes 1.21 Gigawatts to produce enough power for the flux capacitor, which makes… time… travel… possible.

Does a lightning bolt actually produce the power that is needed?  Maybe.
